Abstract
Este trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo elaborar un estudio de factibilidad para la
creación del Centro Turístico Misak Pi Kap en el municipio del Silvia Cauca, con el fin de
promover el desarrollo socio económico de la comunidad Misak y la conservación de la cultura.
Se realizó un abordaje integral, mediante un enfoque mixto que mezcló técnicas cualitativas
como las entrevistas que se aplicaron de manera estructurada a actores clave (Alcalde de Silvia y
la Gobernadora del territorio Misak) y cuantitativas que se llevaron a cabo mediante encuestas
aplicadas a potenciales visitantes turísticos de diferentes departamentos. Se aplicó la metodología
descriptiva apoyada en el análisis DOFA, Matriz EFE y EFI, además de un estudio financiero
que incluyó el VPN, TIR, punto de equilibrio y análisis de sensibilidad. Lo que evidencia una
atractiva aceptación del turismo cultural sostenible, que muestra una demanda real de visitantes
al municipio de Silvia. De tal modo que se determinó la viabilidad técnica, ambiental,
organizacional, económica y social del proyecto, donde se considera que hay a nivel socio
cultural y turístico, concluyendo que el Centro Turístico Misak Pi Kap es viable y tiene mucho
potencial de convertirse en un modelo de turismo sostenible inclusivo a diferentes culturas a
nivel internacional que fortalezca la cultura Misak y tenga un impacto positivo en la economía
local.
Description
This thesis aims to develop a feasibility study for the creation of the Misak Pi Kap
Tourist Center in the municipality of Silvia, Cauca, to promote the socioeconomic development
of the Misak community and the preservation of culture. A comprehensive approach was used,
using a mixed-methods approach that combined qualitative techniques such as structured
interviews with key stakeholders (the Mayor of Silvia and the Governor of the Misak territory)
and quantitative techniques, conducted through surveys of potential tourist visitors from different
departments. A descriptive methodology supported by SWOT analysis, EFE and EFI matrices,
and a financial study that included NPV, IRR, break-even point, and sensitivity analysis were
applied. This study demonstrates a strong acceptance of sustainable cultural tourism,
demonstrating a real visitor demand for the municipality of Silvia. In such a way that the
technical, environmental, organizational, economic and social viability of the project was
determined, considering the sociocultural and tourism aspects, concluding that the Misak Pi Kap
Tourist Center is viable and has great potential to become a model of sustainable tourism
inclusive of different cultures at an international level that strengthens the Misak culture and has
a positive impact on the local economy.
