Abstract
Este informe presenta la práctica profesional que llevó a cabo Johan Jair Portilla Troyano en la
empresa Constructora Obras 1.8 S.A.S., en Popayán, Cauca.
La experiencia se centró principalmente en dos proyectos: el anteproyecto de un diseño urbano
de un terreno de 249 m2 en el barrio Alameda, por un lado; y, por otro, una ampliación de una casa en la
Urbanización Coomeva que presenta limitaciones espaciales y funcionales, justificando así la
intervención necesaria.
Para lograr este objetivo, se tuvo que integrar ambos puntos de aprendizaje: la teoría académica
y la práctica de la vida real con la aplicación de conceptos teóricos y habilidades técnicas a proyectos de
vivienda. Fase por fase se diseñó: diagnóstico del sitio y su entorno, aplicación de regulaciones
existentes (POT en Popayán, NSR-10...) y diseño arquitectónico formulado en medio de la colaboración
interdisciplinaria entre los involucrados. Juegan un papel importante en este proceso las decisiones de
diseño respaldadas por herramientas digitales como AutoCAD, Sketch-Up y Lumion, que también
aportaron a presentar la información.
Entre los resultados obtenidos se propusieron diseños arquitectónicos técnica y legalmente
viable. En el caso particular de la ampliación en la Urbanización Coomeva, se aporta a las condiciones de
vida de los residentes de manera similar basada en sus propias necesidades.
En resumen, esta práctica profesional ha fortalecido las habilidades en análisis de sitio, diseño
arquitectónico y trabajo en equipo, consolidando y reforzando estos cimientos esenciales para la
educación universitaria y la vida profesional.
Description
This report presents the professional internship carried out by **Johan Jair Portilla Troyano** at **Constructora Obras 1.8 S.A.S.** in Popayán, Cauca.
The experience focused mainly on two projects: first, the preliminary design of an urban proposal for a 249 m² plot located in the Alameda neighborhood; and second, the expansion of a house in the Coomeva Housing Development, which presents spatial and functional limitations that justify the need for intervention.
To achieve these objectives, it was necessary to integrate two key areas of learning: academic theory and real-life practice, through the application of theoretical concepts and technical skills to housing projects. The work was developed in phases that included site and context diagnosis, the application of existing regulations (such as the Territorial Planning Plan—POT—of Popayán and the NSR-10 building code), and the development of the architectural design through interdisciplinary collaboration among the participants. Design decisions played an important role in this process and were supported by digital tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion, which also facilitated the presentation of the information.
Among the results obtained were architectural proposals that are technically and legally viable. In the specific case of the expansion in the Coomeva Housing Development, the project contributes to improving the living conditions of the residents, responding to their specific needs.
In summary, this professional internship strengthened skills in site analysis, architectural design, and teamwork, consolidating essential foundations for both university education and professional practice.
