Abstract
The beginning of entrepreneurship emerges in the history of mankind when man seeks ways to overcome and improve their lifestyle. Entrepreneurship is something cognitive in humanity, could also say that it is a way of thinking and acting, directed to the creation of money and new businesses. Currently one of the main factors of entrepreneurship in the Department of Cauca are: poverty, unemployment, cost of living, food, education, clothing and housing. These situations create the need for personal improvement to bring a better lifestyle, not forgetting that entrepreneurship is also linked to innovation and creating new ideas that contribute to the development of Cauca Department.
This document is a research conducted to study the types of entrepreneurship in the municipalities of Popayan and Timbío the Department of Cauca.
Firstly this paper given the opportunity to build broader than the term entrepreneurship and ranking, using different authors as a reference knowledge.
Research will be conducted through a structured interview with entrepreneurs from different economic sectors located in the municipality. In this interview will take into account the activities developed an entrepreneur to start a business, processes involved in these activities, the qualities necessary to successfully undertake; secondly, the reasons leading to embark on the adventure, the way that once detected the opportunity is given solution.
This document will give the opportunity to know and identify entrepreneurs from different municipalities, identifying existing typologies in the municipalities of Popayan and Timbío of Cauca Department, this research also allow us to make a characterization of the types of entrepreneurs found in the municipalities to
