El hoy y el por qué de la informática musical

Abstract

El uso de las tecnologías en el mundo de la música es hoy en día un hecho ineludible. Toda composición musical que escuchamos sucede en algún momento de su transmisión, a través de un proceso tecnológico. Puede tener lugar en el momento de la creación, de la interpretación o de la reproducción en la obra musical. Gracias al uso de estas tecnologías, la información, las TIC’s y la comunicación musical se han extendido de forma extraordinaria en las últimas décadas. En la enseñanza musical la utilización de estos nuevos recursos supone que la educación no está ajena a las nuevas formas de hacer y escuchar música en nuestra sociedad sino todo lo contrario. Su introducción ayuda a los alumnos a comprender cómo se puede escuchar, cómo se ha hecho y cómo se crea la música y por tanto potencia actitudes más conscientes y críticas hacia el hecho musical. Así el uso de recursos tecnológicos en el aprendizaje musical no sólo despierta el interés por aprender en los alumnos, sino que también les prepara para incorporarse en la sociedad en la que viven, cada día más tecnificada.

The use of the technologies in the world of music is nowadays an inescapable fact. Any musical composition that we listen happens at some time of its transmission, through a technological process. It can take place at the time of the creation, of the interpretation or the reproduction in the musical work. Thanks to the use of these technologies, the information, TIC ‘s and the musical communication have been extended of extraordinary form in the last decades. In musical teaching the use of these new resources supposes that education is not separate of the new forms to do and to listen to music in our society but quite the opposite. Its introduction helps the students to understand how it could be listened, how it has become and how music is created and therefore it powers more conscious and critics attitudes towards the musical fact. This way the use of technological resources in the musical learning not only wakes up the interest to learn in the pupils, it prepares also them to get up themselves in the society in which they live, every day more technified.
