Competencias del docente en la educación virtual

Abstract

Las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación (TIC´s) introducidas en la labor educativa hacen necesario el replanteamiento de las prácticas de enseñanza por parte de los docentes. Si bien la reflexión pedagógica asociada a la educación virtual hace especial hincapié en el estudiante como centro del proceso, no se puede desestimar la importancia que en la enseñanza adquiere el docente. En este artículo se presenta la manera como en el Colegio Mayor del Cauca se puede abordar el proceso de la enseñanza flexible que conduce al aprendizaje abierto, basado en el uso de plataformas y herramientas virtuales.New Technologies of Information and Communication (TICs) introduced in the educative frame have created the necessity of reconsidering the teaching practices on behalf of teachers. Although the pedagogical reflection related to the virtual education makes a special stress in the student as the center of the education process, the importance of the teacher must not be underestimated. Through this article it is presented how could be carried on a flexible teaching process in The Colegio Mayor del Cauca, which guides to an open learning based on the use of virtual platforms and tools.
