Abstract
El impulso del empresarismo desde la academia se ha convertido hoy en un requisito y en un reto para las instituciones de educación superior en sus propósitos de contribuir al desarrollo individual de sus estudiantes y del mundo empresarial regional y local. La construcción y transmisión del conocimiento, unidas a la formación de un espíritu emprendedor en los educandos, garantiza no solo la pertinencia social de las instituciones educativas sino el avance económico de amplias zonas del país.
Nowadays the promotion of entrepreneurship within the academic community has become a necessity and a challenge to higher education institutions in their aims to support their students’ individual growth, as well as the entrepreneurial world in its regional and local contexts. The development and sharing of knowledge along with the development of an entrepreneurial spirit among the learners, guarantee not only the social suitability of educational institutions but also the economic expansion of wide areas of the country.
